
One of the most important events in publicly supported research during 2009 has been the federal government’s $15 billion commitment to funding research under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
As a result of these new opportunities, research institutions nationwide are seeking support from a variety of federal funding agencies. Michigan State University has been successful in receiving awards of more than $20 million to date.
